Financial Analyst
Momentum CFO provides outsourced fractional Chief Financial Officer services to help small and mid-sized businesses grow profitably. We’re seeking a part-time Financial Analyst to join our team and support our rapid growth. The Financial Analyst will provide financial expertise and analytical support to clients. Key responsibilities include financial reporting and analysis, forecasting, budgeting, and financial modeling.

Responsibilities
- Prepares routine and ad hoc financial reports.
- Analyzes financial and operational reports and data, identifying problems, trends, and solutions.
- Communicates conclusions and recommendations to management.
- Develops forecasts and budgets based on sound knowledge of client’s operations.
- Constructs moderately complex financial models.
- Summarizes data into meaningful formats and prepares executive dashboards.
- Proactively identifies areas for process improvement.
- Assists Fractional CFO with other duties as assigned.
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or Mathematics
- 2-5 years of related work experience in a Finance role
- Prior experience in a large company’s Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) department is preferred
Skills
- Critical thinking and problem solving
- Strong understanding of income statement, balance sheet, and statement of cash flows
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills including vlookups, pivot tables, and nested formulas
- Experience using QuickBooks Online as well as reporting, analysis, and planning software is preferred
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Commitment to providing excellent client service
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent planning and organizational skills

The Financial Analyst will provide financial expertise and analytical support to clients. Key responsibilities include financial reporting and analysis, forecasting, budgeting, and financial modeling.
